Happy 2012!  I hope the new year brings all your new endeavors to fruition.

I've been working on some new things.  Some of them are available in my etsy store .  I have a new Dia de los Muertos skull necklace and also a mixed media Catrina painting with glass flowers in her hair.

I've also opened up a new store:  bludawg designs where you can buy t-shirts, mugs, Ipad cases and all kinds of products with my artwork on them.  I'm excited to have the opportunity to sell my artwork on other types of media!  Check it out!

I just finished an online class called "Gothic Dreams" by Ady Alamanza on Doll Dreams .  She's a very talented artist and a great teacher.  I had so much fun in her class.  We painted some nice things just in time for Halloween.  Doll Dreams is celebrating it's one year anniversary. You should check it out . . . it's so much fun!

This is a new style for me and I learned a lot.  Here's some of my paintings from "Gothic Dreams":

Halloween Witch

It's getting closer!!  Halloween is so much fun and I'm like a little kid, lol.  Here's a multimedia painting I did recently.  I've photographed it and turned it into a pendant that is for sale in an Etsy shop called Artist Peeps R Us, Witch Necklace:

La Catrina Bracelet

I've listed a new bracelet in my etsy store called "La Catrina".  She was so much fun and I can't wait to make more Catrina bracelets in the future.  She was a challenge to put together and get the length right for a bracelet.  My first attempt was about 9" long, lol, but she's ready to go on that special someone's wrist now!

Frida "Death is All Around" Necklaces

Spring has sprung!! And yet, last night we received a dusting of snow.  Even though it's going to be in the mid 50's today . . . go figure.  And the winds are ferocious, 50 mph, bringing on horrible allergies.  Anyhoo, I have two new necklaces in my Etsy store.  They are copies of my print that are attached to jeweler's crystal clear glass tiles.

I also have some new big hole beads that are great for those Pandora style bracelets:

"Love U to the Moon and Back"

I recently learned how to enamel on copper.  I've been wanting to add enameled charms and clasps to my necklaces and bracelets.  Here'a a fun necklace with a lampwork moon and an enameled heart that says "Love U to the Moon and Back".  It has already been sold, but if you'd like a similar piece, you can email me at debbiemerhege@bludawgdesigns.com:
